PIERRE DEMENASCE

DeMENASCE--Pierre, died peacefully at home on September 11th, at the age of 89. Pierre was a lifelong resident of New York City. Until a few years ago, he was an avid walker all over Manhattan. Also, he was a great fan of the old Hollywood movies, which he would view at the Museum of Modern Art and in his final years, on television at home. During the last three years, he was cared for beautifully by his devoted aide, Councillia Razack. He is also survived by his cousins, Eric Vincendon, Jacques Mawas, Fiona Ellison Coster and Beatrice Emir. As Pierre expressly requested, there will be no funeral service. Contributions in his memory may be made to Selfhelp Community Services, Inc. or Metropolitan Jewish Hospice.
