RICHARD GALEF Obituary

GALEF--Richard.

Richard Galef died peacefully on May 31, 2015. He was an accomplished industrial and landscape designer, the creator of the magnificent gardens at Rabbit Hill in Columbia Country. A brilliant man, he did everything with zest and intensity living his life to the fullest. We mourn the passing of our beloved Richard, husband of Susan Anthony, uncle of Suzie Rettblatt, brother of the late Mildred Rosenbaum, stepfather of Melissa Anthony, and father of Adam Galef and the late Joshua Galef. Memorial Service, July 4, 158 Maiers Road, Craryville, New York, 12 o'clock. Donations to Garden Conservancy, P.O. Box 219, Cold Spring, NY 10516.
