1965 - 2013
S. Timothy Merrell, 48, of New York City passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013.

He was born in Auburn, NY on October 30, 1965, to Carol and Harold (Peter) Merrell. Tim graduated from North Rose-Wolcott High School, received a bachelor's degree in business from Syracuse University, and his M.B.A. from Baruch College. He worked in the financial industry, moving up the ranks to Managing Director at Deutsche Bank. In 2011 he joined Wells Fargo Bank as Executive Vice President in the Global Transaction Banking Group.

Tim had a passion for music, and studied the piano. He was an adventurer who traveled most of the world including Argentina, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, and South Africa.

He is survived by his husband, José Rolón, his eight-month-old son, Avery Walker Merrell; his parents; four siblings, Jon Merrell, Laurie Merrell-Parra, Susan Merrell, and Julie Mattera; nine nephews and nieces; and countless friends. A funeral service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in New York City on Tuesday, December 17.
