SAMUEL SHAW Obituary

SHAW--Samuel P., of Boston, Massachusetts, died peacefully on November 12 at Spaulding Hospital, Cambridge, at the age of 94. He was a graduate of Harvard College '39, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After serving in the Marines in WWII, he practiced law in Boston, New York City and Millerton, NY. Beloved father of Jane and Parkman, stepfather of Christopher Anne and Linda, and husband of the late Elizabeth Roberts Shaw. He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor S. Mittendorf, Joan S. Coburn, Gertrude S. Crittenden and Rosemary S. Blake, his four grandchildren, Sam, Ben, Casey and Jason; four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and everyone who called on Uncle Sam when in need of wisdom or wit. Memorial service will be held at 11am on December 11, 2010 at the Church of Our Saviour, 25 Monmouth Street, Brookline, MA.
