FOWLER--Clement, 84, died August 16. A "working actor" for more than 50 years on Broadway, off Broadway and regional theaters. He brought a special talent and understanding to the many roles he performed on the plays of Shakespeare, including Richard Burton's production of Hamlet on Broadway. He maintained his commitment to quality and integrity throughout his career. He will be missed by his many friends and associates. He was the beloved husband of the late Edith Fowler and survived by sister-in-law Dorothy June and nieces Deborah June and Sarah Lillian. Funeral services Saturday, August 22 at 7pm at Walter Cooke Funeral Home, 352 East 87th St., New York City. Interment at the Actors Fund Burial Area, Kensico Cemetery, Sunday, 1pm, Valhalla, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders.
