SWAN--Kenneth G., Professor of Surgery for over 40 years, and Combat Surgeon for multiple tours in Vietnam and the First Gulf War, died suddenly on March 22, at his home in South Orange, NJ. He was 79. Dr. Swan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betsy, whom he met when she was a nurse at New York Hospital, his brother, Bruce, his children, Stephanie Barbagiovanni, KG Swan, and Debbie Wright, and his seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life at Wyoming Presbyterian Church, Millburn, NJ on Friday at 10am. Interment Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, South Orange on Thursday, 2-4pm and 6-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wyoming Presbyterian Church in his memory would be appreciated.
