FOLKMAN --Judah, M.D. The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) and its Worcester Foundation for Biomedical Research (WFBR) mourn the passing of our friend Judah Folkman. A member of the WFBR Board and 1998 recipient of the Gregory Pincus Medal, Dr. Folkman gave the keynote address at the 2004 Investiture of UMMS Nobel Laureate Craig C. Mello as the Blais University Chair of Molecular Medicine. His pioneering contributions to science will endure. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his wife and family. Michael F. Collins, M.D., Chancellor, UMMS Craig C. Mello, Blais University Chair, UMMS John Herron, Chairman, WFBR Thoru Pederson, Director, WFBR John L. Sullivan, President, WFBR
