KENNEDY--Edward M. The board of directors, members, and staff of the Food Allergy Initiative mourn the loss of Senator Edward Kennedy, our friend and uncle of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a longtime member of our board. A tireless champion of the 12 million Americans who suffer from food allergies, Senator Kennedy was instrumental in the passage of the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act. Because of his passionate commitment, this landmark legislation saves precious lives every day. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of this remarkable man. Todd J. Slotkin, Chairman, Sharyn T. Mann, Vice Chairman, David Bunning, Vice Chairman.
