SCHNEIDERMAN--Seymour. A true mensch, who personified family and all that is good in the world, passed away on January 25, 2010 at 82. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Sunny, his loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his many friends in New York City, Garrison and his extended family at Symphony Fabrics. Seymour was born on October 21, 1927 in New York. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School and then New York University. After serving in the Army he started working at Symphony. He eventually became the sole owner of Symphony transforming it into one of the most successful and respected names in the garment industry. Seymour was devoted to his family and charitable causes throughout his life including U.J.A., Shaare Zedek and Temple Emanuel. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 28th at Riverside Chapel, 76th Street and Amsterdam Ave., at 10am.
