ROMANOFF--David. The Yeshiva University family is deeply grieved on the passing of David Romanoff an ardent devotee of Israel, Israeli Archeology and Israel Studies, and an active member of the Elizabeth, NJ Jewish community. He was the son of the late Rabbi Gershon (and Freda Zemel) Romanoff. Heartfelt condolences are extended to his beloved wife, Syndi, and their children: Gershon Ari, Chi Ilana, Akiva, Elchanan, Gila Dalia, Gedalia, Yehuda and Chaim, his sister, Dr. Roberta A., a former member of the Stern College for Women Board of Overseers (and Dr. Irving) Strauchler, his brother, Dr. Elihu (and Libby) Romanoff, and his uncle, YU Guardian, Rabbi Nathan (and Marion) Zemel, and aunts, Mildred (and Milton) Klein, and Blanche Herberg.
