I idolized Ruth Mack while I was growing up. Being with her was the best time. She made me feel as though I was the daughter she never had. I am so sorry she never got to know my children. With kindest thoughts to all who mourn her.

I will always love and miss the Aunt Ruth Mack that I knew growing up. Seders at her home were among my favorite times with Aunt Ruth and her family. My sympathy goes out to Freddie, David, Billy and Earle along with their families.

The Bay Terrace Jewish Center, Bayside, Queens, and the membes of the Daily Evening Service, mourn the passing of our beloved Ruth Mack. Ruth was in every way the Grande Dame, a majestic, regal lady with a warm, compassionate heart and generosity of spirit, who profoundly touched the hearts of all who knew her. Ruth, with her beautiful signature smile, lit up the sanctuary each evening as she attended services during the spring and summer months, chanting many of the Hebrew prayers by heart. Her passing has left a deep void in our hearts and she will be sorely missed. We extend our deepest condolences to Ruth's entire family. May the exquisite values and virtues that guided your beloved Ruth in her life and defined who she was as a person be a source of comfort for the great loss you have sustained and inspiration to continue your noble work in behalf of the Jewish community and all humanity. Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Blickstein..
