GREENE--William Teich. We at New York-Presbyterian Hospital are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved friend and colleague William Teich Greene. Words cannot express our sense of loss and sorrow that he is no longer with us. Bill began his extraordinary career at what was then known as The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in 1976, and at the time of his passing was VP of Operations at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. His skills as a hospital administrator were unparalleled, his commitment to the work of our hospital unmatched, his contributions immeasurable and his devotion to patients, employees and staff set the standard for excellence. His sense of humor, his smile, his joie de vivre - we remember them all. We mourn him and we miss him. We were blessed and privileged to have known Bill, and we will never forget him. Our heartfelt condolences are extended to his family. Herbert Pardes, M.D. President and CEO Steven Corwin, M.D. Exec.
