HONIG--Edwin, 91, of Alzheimer's complications. Professor Emeritus at Brown, he was a renowned poet and scholar and knighted by the Spanish and Portuguese governments for his translations of Iberian poets and playwrights. He is survived by his sister, Lila Putnam, two sons, Jeremy and Daniel and his former wife, Margot Dennes.
