CURKIN--Alvin, of Boca Raton, FL formerly of Tenafly and Fort Lee, NJ on April 18, 2012. Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Leibson) Father of Charlie and Stephen Curkin, Ronald Bernstein (Robyn), Francine Farber (Richard) and Barry Bernstein (Helen). Dear Brother of Faith Posin. Loving grandfather of Zephen, Xenia, Carly, Kyle, Brandon and Jake. Alvin was a Navy veteran of WWII and Korea. He ran the Galler 7-Up Bottling Co. in Hackensack, NJ for many years before retiring and also served as Board Chairman of the Y.M.H.A. in Hackensack, NJ and was Board Chairman of Hackensack University Medical Center 1980-83. Services will be held at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Noon. Should Friends desire, contributions may be made to Hackensack University Medical Center.
