Dear Ellen, Richard. Larry and Steven,

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Father. Wish we had been able to attend memorial services and be there to comfort you. We were glad to hear that Eddie passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home surrounded by his loving family. We consider him a true Patriarch and a shining example of a loving father, husband and family historian. We cherish the visit we paid to him last April at which time he was his delightful, cheery, energetic self, recapitulating the Mauskopf family history and updating us on the doings of all his children and grandchildren. We will always remember his annual phone calls to express birthday wishes and relate new events. He was always a delight to speak with. We will miss him, his warm spirit, and constant endeavor to keep the family up-to-date.
Be comforted to know that he will live on in our memories.
With deepest sympathy,

Larry and the Schall family,
Sending heartfelt condolences. Your expression of love and respect for your father left a deep impression to me and to your Oglethorpe Family. How amazing to have the love, admiration and respect of one's father. I believe it is what helps to make us who we are. We look forward to your return and hope we can be of any support to you during this time of grieving and reflection of his passing.
