Leslie, I was shocked to look at today's Journal News and realize that you had suffered such a tragic loss. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and Chris. I spoke with my friend Natalie Derby today, whose son Serge was a friend of Parker's at Suffield, and she said he was a wonderful young man who they enjoyed having visit in Bridgehampton. I know that he is deeply missed.

Dear Leslie and Chris,
We are deeply saddened to hear about Parker. We loved having your family live just a few houses from ours back in Parker's early years in Bronxville, and we missed you when you moved away. Seeing Parker's picture as a handsome, smiling young man and reading about how he lit up every room he entered, we can see what an outstanding person he became. We are stunned and saddened by his death and we send you our heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

My heart breaks I am deeply saddened for your loss.. I have so many memories of picking up Parker with Spencer after school at Winston and being together with the two of them. Our family is so sad about this tragedy for your family and everyone that knew and cherished Parker. My daughter Carly graduated with Parker and it was only yesterday that she was able to share with me that she ate breakfast every day with him and walked together each day to their math class and how that time with Parker was such a wonderful part of her day. Parker was so loved at Suffield and our sons and daughters were lucky and blessed to have him be part of their lives. I was blessed to have had Parker in my ceramics class at Rumsey Hall School, as well as work with him as the school's librarian. I will always remember his winning smile and warm personality. He was a very talented artist and made many lovely pots on the potter's wheel. I can still see the PR he always etched in the bottom of his pieces. I am so sorry for your loss. He was loved and respected by the students and faculty. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Parker was a bright light in my class. A good listener and a positive contributor to the class dynamic every day. Also, he was a coveted group project partner owing to his great way with others. We will all miss him at Suffield.
