KROHN--Lewis Miles, Investment Banker at Lehman Bros, Ira Haupt and Wertheim & Co; Harvard '44 and Harvard Business School '46. His personal clients ranged from Bill Levitt (Levittown) to Charles Bluhdorm (Gulf & Western). Died today February 28, 2013 at the age of 90 at his son and daughter-in-law's Rhode Island residence under hospice care. Lewis was born and raised in Utica, NY in 1922 to Ralph and Rose Krohn. He was married to the late Shirley Rich for 58 years and is survived by his two children Lisa and Steven Krohn and daughter-in-law Samantha Scott Krohn. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Army (Field Artillery). Lewis was a devoted and active alumnus of Harvard. He was the Harvard campaign Class (1944) Chairman 1981-1984 and 1988. He served as President of Temple Beth Ami Synagogue in Scarsdale and Temple Beth Am Shalom in White Plains, as well as Vice Chairman LHP Local Housing Partnership Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. During the past 15 years he was a devoted and beloved citizen of the Osborn in Rye, NY.
