DRAGER--Marvin, died peacefully after a short illness on May 10, 2013, his 93rd birthday. He was for 62 years the loving husband of the late Lenore. He is survived by his daughters Sharon (Wyit Wright), Laura (Martin Barr), and Iris (Howie Gordon); grandchildren Troy Blanchard (Rachel Meyer Blanchard), Jeremy Barr (Elizabeth Crum), Brook Blanchard, Samantha Gordon and Tara Gordon; and great-granddaughter Olivia Lenore Barr. He is also survived by his dear companion Iris Morris. Marvin was a lifelong New Yorker who graduated from St. John's and received a Masters from Columbia. After working for the Associated Press, he headed his own public relations firm for many years. He was also the author of "The Most Glorious Crown," a history of thoroughbred racing's triple crown. Services will be held at Riverside Memorial Chapel 76th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on Tuesday, May 14th at 1:15pm.
