CANDIOTTI--Dr. Alan, 66, of Bernardsville, New Jersey, died suddenly on August 19, 2013. Alan was the interim Dean of Drew University's College of Liberal Arts in Madison, NJ and a valued member of the University's Faculty and Administration since 1980. He was a celebrated teacher, department head and administrator as well as a leader in the Governor's school for New Jersey high school students. He was a devoted son, the family historian, an active member of Congregation B'nai Israel in Basking Ridge, NJ and a lifelong Yankees fan. Alan is survived by many cousins, colleagues, students and friends. He will be sorely missed and remembered fondly. A memorial service is being planned on the Drew campus for the fall. Memorial contributions in honor of Alan may be made to Drew University.
