I am so sorry to learn about this. I happened to read about a real estate transaction and was shocked to learn that this had happened. I also suffered the loss of a parent just months later in 2013, and my heart goes out to Nick and Rachel. Nick and I went to school together and were friendly. I remember first meeting him at a science fair, and being impressed with his motion sensing alarm. "Death is a night that lies between two days--the day of life on earth and the day of eternal life in the world to come." Be well, be strong.

Roger and I met in Russian class in high school and used to play war games together. I beat him once playing "Panzerblitz." Never did beat him in chess though, even when he played blindfolded.

Dear Cy,
As a mother I can understand how you must feel.The worst thing that can happen to a parent is for a child to die. Your consolation is that he leaves behind children who will carry on his genes.
