GOLDSTONE--Jonas M., MD. The entire St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center (SLR) family acknowledges with sadness the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Jonas M. Goldstone, MD, who served with great distinction on the medical staff at SLR for many years, providing outstanding care to our patients and serving as a role model for several generations of physicians in training. Dr. Goldstone was recognized for his particular expertise in Hematology/Oncology and served as Chief of Oncology from 1976 to 1992. In addition, he represented the institution with numerous medical societies on city, state and national levels. Dr. Goldstone also gave considerably of his personal time to SLR, serving for many years on SLR's Medical Board, including a term as President. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and worked with him. To his family, friends and all of his loved ones, we extend our heartfelt condolences. Frank J.
