I am just learning of her passing today! I took many dance classes at her HB studio and her outside classes. She was a hoot! Me and other students would have coffee with her after class. I'm sad today..

June was my dance teacher for over 8 years. She opened the door to a new world of dance and made me believe in myself. For that I am forever grateful. I will miss you always and you will be loved forever!

My first lesson in dance was taught to me by June at HB Studios in 1983. It was also the first time I saw my future wife, Lydia. We have been happily married for over 26 years thanks to June's classes and workshops. We were watching So ya think you can dance tonight on TV and we were wondering about June. Decided to Google her and saw the sad news of her passing. Going to put on a recording of a workshop she produced with all her top students at the 18th St Playhouse. The name of the show was called A Marmalade of Song and Dance. Rest in Peace June Love You, ALBERT and LYDIA Pacifico

I worked with June in the 70's in the Allenberry Production of "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum". She and I were the Gemini Twins. At this time she was still married to Ron Story and their collection of loved animals was legion. I rode with her on the train to Philadelphia next to an animal carrier carrying a tranquilized Civet Cat. After that show, we lost touch. But in recent years, as she lived near me, I saw her walking a dog very slowly and painfully. She told me she had terrible arthritis. I celebrate her sparkling life and am glad she is now released from a body that no longer served her. Rest in peace, Junie.

I am adding a message from actor, Paul Keith in California. "Perhaps you can put this is her guest book since I'm not in New York. June and I met twice early on - first filming a commercial, then in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM at Bucks County Playhouse. I also saw her onstage in NORMAN IS THAT YOU and MISS JULIE. She was a dedicated performer and studied her craft more than any human being I know.
We became sweethearts and friends and I shall always treasure the times we had together in New York. We went to a great many shows and ballets. (She taught me ballet at HB Studio and informed me about all the contemporary and historical ballet figures of note). We had a great many joyous times together. She was an ardent feminist and a devotee of Adele Davis making me drink some of the most God-awful health concoctions I've ever tasted. But she shall always be in my heart. Many healing thoughts from me and also from Barbara Sheehan. She and her husband Steve often double- dated together. She is missed. -- Love Paul Keith"

Ted and Cynthia I am so sorry to hear about your loss. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. June sounds like a life spark! "God gave us memories so we might have roses in December." I hope you have dozens of beautiful "roses"! Love Nancy Witter

I met June Eve when I was doing tech for a show in Brooklyn and she was performing, then later when I worked with IRT and met Ted and Cynthia and discovered they had this wonderful crazy sister with whom I had already worked. Amazing! She will be missed.

We first met June and her menagerie in 1968. She was a 'oner' from the get go and will always be remembered for her artistic flair and bright personality. Sending much love and warm hugs to her grieving family.

She will be sadly missed for her positive outlook and love of the theater. I only knew her slightly during the time of "I Had a Ball" but her bright personality made her a special part of the wonderful community of Broadway "gypsies."
