FIELD--Albert E., Jr., of Huntington, NY, died at the age of 86 on October 10, 2013. He attended Adelphi Univ and Univ of Penn Dental School, and served in the USN during WWII. He practiced dentistry in Manhasset and Huntington, and was known for his generosity to all. Active in his community, his passion was sailboat racing. Over the years he belonged to Port Washington, Centerport and New York Yacht Clubs, serving race committee at NYYC while living in Rhode Island. Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Iris Stafford Field, son Todd Field, daughter Bonnie Field Crowley, and cherished grandchildren Elsbeth Field Dowd, Donald Crowley, Meaghan Crowley and Gareth Field. Memorial service to be held at St. John's Episcopal Church Cold Spring Harbor, Sunday, October 27 at 2pm.
