LONGLEY--Robert Fulton, 80, of Salisbury, CT and Nantucket, of a stroke on October 7. Born in Des Moines, IA, son of Rev. Harry S. and Agnes Longley. A 1955 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, he later served there as Dean of Men and Director of Alumni Relations. In 1967 he joined Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. in New York City and became a Senior Vice President and Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs. He retired in 1990 and founded The Salisbury Group, an executive search firm for not-for-profit organizations. He was a volunteer firefighter, private pilot, talented pianist, golfer, fisherman and photographer. Aside from family, his greatest love was Nantucket, where his grandparents began spending summers in the early 1900s. It is where he and his entire family have spent the happiest times of their lives. Survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Nancy Dempster; his children Anne, Amy, and Robert Longley and Jennifer Lynch; three grandchildren; his sister Lucinda Slate; and six nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Nancy Agnew. A Memorial Service 11am November 1 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Salisbury. Interment next summer in Siasconset Union Chapel columbarium on Nantucket.
