BARNETT--Sally Ellen, 86, recently of Manhattan, died in Ridgefield, Connecticut on Sunday, October 27. Daughter of Pearl and A.N. Barnett of Brooklyn, she is survived by her devoted children Patricia Zohn and Robert Zohn, her adoring grandchildren Camilla, Nicholas, Abigail and Patrick and her loving sister Barbara Goldfarb. She was predeceased by her sister Dr. Marjorie Barnett of Chicago and her former husband Arnold Zohn, a publishing executive. She was the editor of the Lincoln Log at Abraham Lincoln High School and continued her literary endeavors at the University of Wisconsin. Also a talented painter, tennis player and dedicated distance walker, Sally edited the Dimonstein Express Newsletter and was a residential broker at Douglas Elliman. Her family, along with many friends, will remember her generosity and kindness, her elegance and beauty, her love of culture and the arts and a keen and curious mind. Services at the Riverside Memorial Chapel (180 West 76th St at Amsterdam Ave.) Tuesday at 9:30am.
