The Beta Xi chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity lost a Brother last week. On Thursday, December 5, 2013 Dale E. Miller passed on to that great Fraternity in the sky and joined all of our Brothers whose tickets were punched prematurely. Cancer is an insidious and dreadful disease yet it failed to rob Dale of all those ideals that he held dear. His integrity, devotion to family and loyalty to friends inspired all that knew him. In many ways Dale was larger than life. His humorous and gregarious personality was impossible to miss. Yet beneath the bravado was a caring and sensitive friend. Dale is survived by his wife Hillary, daughter Amanda son Edward, mother Carolyn and sister Tori plus all of those people who were fortunate to call him a friend.
In honor of Dale, may be made in his name to "The Miller Fund for the Murphy Institute of Political Economy", Office of Development, P.O. Box 61075, New Orleans, LA 70161-9986; The Darien Land Trust, PO Box 1074, Darien, CT 06820.
