BERNARD GOLD Obituary

GOLD--Bernard Ralph, died Peacefully at Home in New Rochelle at age 89. Beloved, dedicated husband for 59 years of Dina and beloved father of Billy and Bobby and grandfather of Michael, Brian, John, David, Liz, Tom and Danny. A cherished brother, father-in-law, uncle and friend. Bernard set a standard for kindness, ethics, compassion, love and humor. He had a good word to say about everyone and touched all he came into contact. He will be missed by all. He was a World War II Veteran and served his country in the Pacific with distinction. After the war he earned his CPA and rose to be the CFO and Executive Vice President of Polychrome and afterwards a commodities trader and seat owner on the NYMEX. He was a man of honor and distinction who set a wonderful example in everything he did. Private funeral services followed by Shiva on Monday, December 16 at his home, where Dina and he raised their family and lived for 53 years.
