VIZZINI--Ned. The Hunter College community is shocked and saddened by the loss of our extraordinarily talented alumnus, Ned Vizzini, Class of 2003. Ned wrote his first novel, Be More Chill, as a student at Hunter and maintained a close relationship with the College ever since. He returned to his alma mater on several occasions to speak with students, always inspiring them to pursue their dreams in spite of all obstacles. Ned was a valued friend to me and to Hunter, and we will always remember his gifts of kindness, humor, and generosity of time and spirit. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife, son, parents, and entire family. Jennifer J. Raab, President, Hunter College
