Edwin and Fern Beschler
January 20, 2014
John was a Bronxville neighbor in the late 70's and a good friend ever since. A witty man whose good humor never failed him---and his mind was sharp to the end. He was a wonderful friend. Fern and Edwin Beschler

John was a loyal, intelligent and kind friend from first days at Harvard.
We remained close in his days in New York City, while he was at Dewey Ballantine and ABC, and he served as the Best Man at our wedding (Susan First Pollack, Radcliffe 1964). To Connie, Amanda and Nicholas, Susan and I extend our deepest sympathies on your great loss. John was a rare and wonderful man.
