VASSALLO--Ed. Our valiant friend, Ed Vassallo, is gone. Commitment. Joy. Pranks. Love of life. Bright laughter. Eyes that grew large with enthusiasm over the smallest detail he believed would move our theater company forward - keep it together. Ed's great love of theater, strength of spirit and his special talent as an actor is known to many. We are deeply saddened by his loss. For Labyrinth Theater Company, Ed brought spirit, labor, and loving embrace. As an actor, he lit up our stage. As an educator, he inspired literally hundreds of the next generation of theater artists. As a producer of our marathon festivals, he made the impossible possible. He was committed to the success of not only our theater but to the history, the craft, and the brilliance of the American theater. We say goodbye with our sense of great loss and profound love. Ed Vassallo was elected by his fellow Company members to serve on our Board of Directors. He was and will always be a Company Member of Labyrinth Theater Company.
