I have such fond memories of Robert, especially meeting him at the society of illustrators party in the late '70's, feeding him here in Portland, Oregon, picking up the bunny rabbit, and the countless times I saw him in New York City. He was a true inspiration for me and a charm to be with. I took a great panoramic shot of him in his crammed little studio when I last saw him. I admired how he could fit so much in such a small studio. I will miss him. My love and hugs to Gigi, Evan, and Marietta. I'm terribly sorry to have heard this, and I send my love to you all. I know he was a teacher who also definitely inspired many people who gained allot from him. Love Ben Rosenberg, Portland, Oregon
