MARJORIE FOX Obituary

FOX--Marjorie Claire, 67, succumbed to cancer Sunday morning in La Jolla, California, surrounded by her adoring husband, Dean, and loving children, Lila (Eric Lerner) and Cory (Molly). Beautiful, charming and determined, Marjorie was equally committed to her family and to improving education. A proud graduate of NYU and NYU Graduate School with a Masters in Education, Marjorie passionately pursued her career as an educator, educational sales executive and consultant. She was the motivation and inspiration to her family, and adored her grandchildren, Zoe and Theo. Marjorie was unique, a dynamic combination of warmth, sunshine and lightning. Her passions included her friends, fashion and travel, especially to Paris. Donations in her name to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

Marjorie was an inspiration--my cheer leader, my mentor, and above all, my loving friend. I will miss her warmth, her brainy humor, her can-do spirit, and her determination to make a difference in the world. My most heart-felt condolences to all the family.

I had the privilege of knowing Marjorie first as a business professional that quickly developed into a friendship. She was a hard worker & strived for perfection always! She was passionate about education & I will miss our long telephone talks in which she talked lovingly about her family. My deepest sympathies to her family. I am glad to have had Marjorie in my life
