NAOMI WEISSTEIN Obituary

WEISSTEIN--Naomi.

History in Action, an intergenerational network of feminist writers and activists, celebrate the life, mourn the death of beloved Naomi Weisstein (1939-March 26, 2015). Brilliant, ferocious, funny feminist women's liberation pioneer. Her "Kuche, Kirche, Kinder: Psychology Constructions the Female" is part of the Women's Liberation canon as was her path- breaking research on visual perception. She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband Jesse Lemisch and a cadre of sisters, friends and supporters.

A brilliant scientist but more importantly a true humanist who loved humankind. A fighter for social justice in the true sense of the term. A feminist who fought not only for women but men also. A one of a kind.
