Frederic Clinton Reynolds, 80, died peacefully at home in Mendham, NJ on March 23, 2015. Born on January 22, 1935 in Orange, NJ to Frederic C. and Mariana C. Reynolds, Fred graduated from The Peck School in 1948,St. Paul's School in 1953 and Princeton University in 1957. He started his career at Standard Oil (Esso) and he thereafter worked in financial marketing for various New York area companies, including Vance Sanders & Company, Axe Houghton, Arnhold & S. Bleichroder and David J. Greene and Company. Fred and his wife Ann were longtime residents of New Vernon, NJ before moving to Mendham in 2004. They also maintained a residence in Boca Grande, FL and on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Over the years, Fred served as a Board member of a number of organizations including The Newark Boys Chorus School, the Winston School, and the Peck School. He was a member of The Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville, New Jersey, the Lemon Bay Club in Englewood, Florida, and the Edgartown Yacht Club and the Edgartown Golf Club, both in Edgartown, Massachusetts. Fred is survived by his wife Ann Day Reynolds, his three children; Stephen Reynolds of Rye, NY, Robert Reynolds of Summit, NJ and Leigh Reynolds Williams of Madison, NJ and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mariana Reynolds Heap of Riverside, CT and Jane Reynolds Riggan of Arcata, CA. A memorial service will be held on May 9th at 3 pm at St. John on The Mountain Episcopal Church, 379 Mount Harmony Road, Bernardsville, NJ. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Newark Boys Chorus School or The Winston School in Fred's memory
