Born in New York City on October 10, 1939, Mr. Moore was the only child of George Stevens Moore, the former President and Chairman of the First National City Bank (predecessor to Citigroup), and Beatriz Bermejillo y Braniff, the Marquesa de Mohernando of Spain.
