Barbara, Judy, Matthew and Winona

I was sadden to hear that your mother/grandmother had passed. You have my deepest condolences and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Remember your family is here for you and you are loved.

I stood for a good long while in the cold, candle-lit darkness, remembering Vera and her luminous eyes. Goodbye, Mother of my Oldest Friend.
