VALLONE-Edward A., Sr. ``Big Ed'' of Roscoe, NY, formerly of Brooklyn, founder, former owner and president of Pioneer Bus Corp. of Brooklyn and Staten Island, NY died Monday, May 22, 2006 at his home. He was 83. He was born June 13, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. Ed served our country during World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Mae Vallone at home, his daughter Linda DeSabato of Queens, NY, two sons, Edward A. Vallone and his life partner Christine Knickerbocker of Liberty, NY and Philip E. Vallone and his wife Donna of Roscoe, NY, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday (today) at Harris Funeral Home in Roscoe, NY at 11:30 A.M. Monsignor William Collins will officiate.
