Gerry was all the things his family says and more. He was a wonderful husband for 11 years. He reminded me once how every morning I told him how much i loved him. I still do. We parted because my cultural background was never accepted. Because of this we never enjoyed sharing dinners or holidays with his family. I felt this disapproval was affecting him adversely. We were living in a grey area with no change for years.He had grandchildren he adored. I could not continue to see him suffer. Every two weeks I came down with something. My doctor told me that if I didn't change things my prognosis was not good. Our friends began to see my decline. We parted. It was a devastating time for both of us. Perhaps both our cultures are accepted in heaven and we meet there. I'll always love you Gerry.
