age 77, of Englewood, NJ, on July 28, 2017. Born on February 7, 1940 in Elizabeth, NJ. He was a pianist and writer. He is the author of five books. Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle, Lillian Gish; (McFarland Publishing) Talking to the Piano Player (Volumes One and Two) and The Keystone Kroud; (Bear Manor Media). For more than 53 years, he accompanied and composed music for Silent Films at the Museum of Modern Art as well as theaters, museums and universities across the United States, Canada and Greece. His scores appear on Pandora's Box, The Eternal Tramp and The Master Mystery. Television audiences are familiar with his Laurel and Hardy series and his work for the Comedy Channel. Stuart is survived by his wife, actress Janet Sovey. Donations may be made in his name to the Lillian Booth Actors Home, 155 West Hudson Ave., Englewood, NJ 07631.
