Bernard was a fine trial lawyer and a wonderful, gentle and kind man. We enjoyed working with him as "of counsel" to our law firm, Brown & Bain, for many years, and will miss him.

Bernie was the best "cousin" a young kid could have growing up in New York City. I remember the famous checker games, that virtually lasted all day, and the times we did spend together in Manhattan. Those were wonderful memories for which I am grateful. I will truly miss him and send my heaartfelt condolences to his sisters Patty and Marianne.

Bernie was an outstanding lawyer, a scholar and above all, a real gentleman. He set a very high standard for those of us in the legal community. One of the best has left us.
