CARTWRIGHT, Peter John. CNZM, QSO. 17th April 2019 at Auckland. Deeply loved by, and devoted husband to Silvia Cartwright. A service will be held at St Mary's in Holy Trinity, 446 Parnell Road, Parnell on Wednesday 24th April at 11 am to be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Auckland City Mission www.aucklandcitymission. org.nz or PO Box 5352, Wellesley St, Auckland 1141 would be appreciated.

I remember Peter well, first meeting him when I was a junior legal advisor at the Department of Justice and he chaired the Indecent Publications Tribunal in the 1980s. He was so smart, had a great sense of humour and for the ironic.

I well remember you from when I worked at The Justice Department in Dunedin NZ & you were a law clerk. I then moved to Wellington, London & finally Sydney where I've lived for 45 years now.

I came from North Otago.

I have always followed your "journey" in life with very great interest.
