HUEY LONG CONWAY, SR. Mr. Huey Long Conway, Sr., 77, of Sturkie died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at East Alabama Medical Center, Opelika. A memorial service was held at the Vines Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 2: 00 p.m. (C.S.T.). The Very Rev. Richard Canon Waller officiated the service. Surviving are: a devoted wife, Mary Launa McMolin Conway, Sturkie; one son: Huey (Teresa) Conway, Jr., Horton; two daughters: Fredricka ( Kevin) Schuh, LaFayette and Katie (Arlin) Spraggins, Little Texas; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Conway's death is a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Anglican Mission Church of the Resurrection, P. O. Box 253, Salem , AL 36874. Vines Funeral Home, Inc., LaFayette, handled the arrangements.
