Chris and Kim, I am sorry I was not able to be with you during this sorrowful time. I am having some medical issues, but am getting better. Please know that I would have been there if I could have. Let me know if there is anything you need, and again, my deepest condolences on the death of your father.

To all the family and friends of Lonnie, I was sorry to hear of your loss. Wish I was able to be with each of you at this time so I could meet each of you. I live in Wichita Falls, TX and will not be able to be there in time to be with you'll. I found out about Lonnie passing on the 16th. Lonnie and I lost track of each other as we got older, but I still have fond memories of us in our childhood years. May God be with each of you at this time of loss. Lonnie and I have the same first name. Melvin and Jewel, I think of you often. Love from me, Cousin Lonnie Alford Smith and my wife Shirley.
