Halton Marvin "Jack" Trout(1927 - 2013)

ODESSA Halton Marvin "Jack" Trout, age 86, of Odessa, passed from this life on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at the Memphis Convalescent Center in Memphis, TX.

He was born in Oil City, LA, on Sunday, January 2, 1927, to the late Marvin and Myrtle (Gardner) Trout.

He worked in the oilfield, drilling and mud engineer, then later for Ace Hot Shot Company. He was a WWII Veteran, having served in the US Army.

Jack was a Mason, member of AF & AM Lodge #1385, Master of the Royal Secret of the 32nd Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.

He is survived by his son: Craig Trout and wife Sharon of Odessa; grandson: Harley Ross Trout of Odessa; nieces and their families: Debra Decoux and Pamela Kirby, both of Spring, TX; and his "Baby" pup: Trixie.

Memorial services with military honors will be 6:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2013, at Acres West Funeral Chapel, 8115 W. University Blvd., Odessa, TX, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Braswell.
