Ronald A. Engeldahl

GARDENDALE Ronald A. Engeldahl, 65, of Gardendale, passed away in his home on Monday, April 29, 2013.
Ronald served his country in the Army and retired from the National Guard. He loved to read and watch Westerns and called bingo at the VA (VFW) Hall. His way of showing his love for his family was to make sure they stayed in line. If Ronald liked you, you knew it and if he didn't… well, you knew that too!
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vanessa D. Engeldahl of Gardendale, Tx; one son, Eric Blandin and wife Treasure of Fort Worth, Tx; three daughters, Michelle Thorn and husband Chuck of Pahrump, Nevada, Amy Wisdom and husband Kelly, Melissa Woodard and husband Donald, all of Gardendale, Tx; two brothers, Richard Engeldahl of Fort Worth, Tx, and Jerry Engeldahl of Midland, Tx; seven grandchildren, Austin Engeldahl of Pahrump, Nevada, Olivia Perkins, Erica Blandin and Elissa of Fort Worth, Tx, Michaela Wisdom, Dax and Nate Woodard, all of Gardendale, Tx.
Viewing will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at American Heritage Chapel from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family of Mr. Engeldahl will receive visitors on May 1, 2013, at American Heritage Chapel from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Gardendale at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry Easley officiating. Interment will follow at American Heritage Cemetery and Funeral Home at West Texas Memorial Park.
