Billy Lloyd Hanks Obituary
ODESSA Billy Lloyd Hanks, 65, of Odessa, passed away in his home on June 14, 2013, under the care of Home Hospice. He was born to the late J.D. and Mary Jo Hanks on December 28, 1947, in Abilene, TX.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 34 years, Kaye (Welch) Hanks; one daughter, Shanna Lindemann of Odessa; three grandchildren, Matthew Lindemann, Niki Lindemann and Chad Engle, all of Pecos; four brothers, Jim Hanks of Dallas, Jerry Hanks (Shirley) of Odessa, Bob Hanks of Pecos and Terry Hanks of Monahans; two sisters, Debbie Wade (J.D.) of Cedar Creek and Betty Hicks of Pecos; and many nieces and nephews. Beloved in-laws, Dwain Welch and family, Durl Welch and family, Dex Welch and family, Doak Welch and family, Jerry Cook and family, Judy Guthrie and family, Sue Frymire and a special nephew, Michael Hanks.

Billy was a devoted Husband, Dad and Poppa. He was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family of Mr. Hanks will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 4-6 PM at American Heritage. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 10:00 AM at West Texas Memorial Park.

Services are entrusted to American Heritage Cemetery and Funeral Home at West Texas Memorial Park.
