Carol was born November 2, 1961 to Delbert and Mary Ramsey in Odessa, TX where she was raised. She married her "Best Friend" Billy Bob Brinlee on December 6, 2001. Carol was a very self motivated person. She worked in safety sales around the oil field for 15 years prior to her death. As she waited to go home, with her family by her side, she spoke softly, "I'm the lucky one," as she raised both arms up to the heavens, asking, "How did God get here?" We will honor and cherish her special memories forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Houston Ramsey and her sister, Linda Ruth Ramsey.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Bob Brinlee of Andrews, TX; mother Mary Briones of Brady, TX; son Jeremy Lunceford of Dallas, TX; daughter Ashlie Ramos of Midland, TX; daughter Jessica Lashbrook of Odessa, TX; son Pete Lashbrook of Andrews, TX; stepdaughters: Laurie Brinlee and Rachel Penny of Elk City, OK; numerous grandchildren; sister and "2nd Best Friend" Debra Henderson of Odessa, TX; brothers: Joel Curtis of Brady, TX and Bobby Briones of San Angelo, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family can express enough in words, the appreciation of the caring staff of Dr. Gibbons at MD Anderson. We would like to say thank you for the great care of Kyle and Sonia of Hospice, for the support and all your time in keeping our loved one comfortable. As the phones continue to ring, friends & family coming by, all the sweet messages being sent, cards, flowers and food, we say Thank You to all of our compassionate friends. We love you all.
