Nikki Perez Obituary

ODESSA Nikki Eve Perez of Odessa, age 59, passed from this life on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. (Tax Man – come get me now!) She was born on December 24, 1951 to Phil Claiborne and Earlene Burgay in Durango, CO. Nikki was a free spirited and hot tempered hippy, but always remained young at heart. She lived all over the states. She loved her grandkids and was known as Shoogie Boogie, not Granny to them. She also loved her dogs, Red Dog and She Neda. Nikki worked at a dialysis center as a tech for over 20 years.

Her father preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother: Earlene Poses of Midland; son: Beau Perez and wife Amy of Odessa; daughter: Jenny Perez of Cancun, Mexico; brothers: Marcus Marrs of Denton, TX, Tony Marrs of Odessa, and Ronnie Marrs of Apple Valley, CA; and three grandchildren: Autumn Perez of Odessa, Tabitha Perez, and Joshua Perez, both of Cancun.

Family visitation will be from 5:30 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 and a party to celebrate her life will be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel and online condolences may be sent at www.acreswestfuneral.com.
