ODESSA, TX - Stephanie Alicia Velasquez, age 31, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Odessa, TX. She was born Tuesday, February 24, 1987 in Crane, TX to Michael Velasquez and Ofelia Dominguez.

"Munkey" was a very outgoing people person who loved to joke and laugh. She had a very unique and contagious laugh. She was loved and loved everyone and nobody was a stranger to her.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her father: Michael Velasquez and wife Gabbie of Odessa; mother: Ofelia Dominguez and Eric Pifer of Waco; brothers: David Dominguez and Adrian Dominguez of Crane, and Kaleb Lozano of Odessa; sisters: Courtney Soto and husband Matt, Pricilla Madrid and husband Adam, and Jacquelyn Velasquez all of Odessa; grandparents: Manuela Velasquez of Odessa, and Eduardo and Francisca Dominguez of Crane; uncle: Lonny Velasquez and wife Laura of Odessa; aunts: Olivia Pacheco and husband Saul of McCamey, Rebecca Velasquez of East Texas, Olga Morris, and Oralia Sanchez and husband Jaime of Crane, Elizabeth Holcombe and husband Jayson, Leslie Thurman and husband Darren, and Alissa Rodriguez, all of Odessa; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather: Robert Velasquez.

A Rosary will be recited 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church will the interment to follow at 1:30 pm at Crane Memorial Cemetery in Crane, TX.
