Cora Hounshell Obituary
She was born on Oct. 23, 1915, in Coleman County to Rufus Wilson and Edna (Jones) Phillips. She married William Martin "Bud" Hounshell on Nov. 1, 1936. "Cody," as she was known by her friends, worked for the Goldsmith ISD as a bus driver and in the cafeteria for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan Roach and Mary Beth McMillan; sons, Horace E. Hounshell, Gary K. Hounshell and Larry G. Hounshell; sister, Nora Williams; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson.
